OnePlus Z spotted with Snapdragon 765G in Geekbench - TechnoSports

This year OnePlus’s powerful phones OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 pro has already won over us but no yet it is rumoured to bring a new flagship killer phone on the market, The OnePlus Z. For OnePlus Z price, release date, leaks and everything that you need to know please know more about it below.

Max J., is leaking information regarding OnePlus devices in the past and he has confirmed that the OnePlus Z is going to be the first OnePlus phone that’s not using a flagship-grade Qualcomm chip.

Max writes in his latest tweet that the OnePlus Z will rely on Qualcomm’s midrange Snapdragon 765G chip, which is the second most capable chip in Qualcomm’s lineup this year. The previous leaks suggested a flagship-grade MediaTek Dimensity 1000 chip. The Dimensity 1000 has comparable performance with the Snapdragon 865 and it has a built-in 5G modem.

Some people want a new OnePlus phone without paying the premium that the main OnePlus 8 series requires, and that’s why many are still excited about the prospect of the 8 Lite, or OnePlus Z.

We aren’t informed when the OnePlus Z will land, a recent rumor has pointed 10th of July might be the date.

As of price OnePlus used to be known for its affordable phones that could rival premium devices, it’s likely the company will aim for a low price tag. Being a mid-range phone it is expected at approximately $549-$600.

OnePlus Major Leaks

Although this phone has a lot to tell us it showed us with a ‘punch-hole’ cut-out central to the top of the display, rear cameras in a bump to the left of the device, and seemingly no 3.5mm headphone jack. We’d expect the OnePlus Z to look a lot like the OnePlus 8 lineup that just debuted, but design and display are two areas OnePlus might cut corners to keep costs down.

The disparity isn’t as big as the 4.7-inch display on the Apple iPhone SE 2 (2020) and the rest of Apple’s iPhone lineup.

This leak also included that the phone will have

  • 6.4-inch screen, Fluid AMOLED display
  • 48MP + 16MP + 12MP rear camera combination with features like Digital Zoom, Auto Flash, Face detection, Touch to focus
  • 16MP front camera
  • 4,000mAh battery, and Mediatek 1000 chipset.
  •  Android v10 (Q) operating system

Conclusion:

The OnePlus Z could be a return to form for a phone maker by building flagship-killing phones that delivered high-end capabilities without equally high price tags. For starters, the screen is flat, not curved as it is on the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro. The front camera cutout is now in the top center of the display instead of in the left corner, and the bezels seem a little bit more noticeable.
